Christian Mentoring Program Volunteer
The goal of the Christian Mentoring Program is to provide students with an opportunity to be connected to one caring adult that is able and committed to meeting with them weekly for an hour.
Pathways After School Program Volunteer
Support day-to-day programming functions (include students in large group games, help with homework, pass out snack, play with them during free time, etc.).
Laura’s Home Childcare Volunteer
Care for and engage children (1 month-5 years) through activities, snacks, teaching, play, and sanitizing duties to support a nurturing environment.
Laura’s Home Front Desk Volunteer
Control entry into Laura’s Home, utilizing a door buzzer system and monitoring residents as they walk through the metal detector. Screen incoming guests/visitors, report any unwelcome guests to staff.
Crossroads Front Desk Volunteer
Greet guests (individual and/or group) upon arrival with a welcoming and friendly attitude.
Crossroads Evening Chapel Leader
Lead evening chapel time (i.e. components of worship and praise, song, testimony, teaching videos, Bible study, prayer, etc.)
Laura’s Home Evening Chapel Leader
Lead Prayer and Worship time (i.e. worship, Bible study, prayer, testimony, etc.) focused on Evangelism and Discipleship.
Laura’s Home Administrative Volunteer
Perform office duties as delegated by the Administrative Assistant, which may include, but not limited to helping with statistics, stuffing envelopes, organizing spaces, note taking, scanning documents, faxing information, filing, etc.
Laura’s Home Beauty Care Volunteer
Instruct women about the importance of good personal hygiene of hair, skin and nails – including information about various hair, skin and nail care products and their usage
Laura’s Home Facilities Volunteer
Assist Facilities Team with current work orders pertaining to simple mechanical tasks and basic plumbing issues (Could be asked to assist with simple electrical work if you have specific experience and expertise in that area).
Crossroads Facilities Volunteer
Assist Facilities Team with current work orders pertaining to simple mechanical tasks and basic plumbing issues. (Could be asked to assist with simple electrical work if you have specific experience and expertise in that area).
Crossroads Art Cart Volunteer
Develop and facilitate art lessons, or creative prompts/projects for Crossroads men (materials will be provided)
Crossroads Administrative Volunteer

Crossroads Barber Volunteer
Cut men’s hair in an orderly and sanitary manner.
Crossroads Resource Center Volunteer
Assist residents with basic computer functions (i.e. logging into laptops, logging into online assessment portals, setting up/logging into google meet or zoom meetings, etc.).
Crossroads Warehouse Volunteer
Assist with accepting, sorting, and organizing donations in warehouse.
Laura’s Home Food Service Volunteer
Provide kitchen support in the areas of cleaning, sanitizing workstations and appliances, organizing supplies, washing dishes, etc.
Laura’s Home Material Gift Inventory Volunteer
Conduct material gift inventory tasks (i.e. sorting, organizing, and counting donations).
Laura’s Home Clothing Room Volunteer
Sort and organize incoming donated clothing items.
Laura’s Home Resource Center Volunteer
The Resource Center is a place where the women obtain access to resources necessary for stability and preparation for housing and employment.
Laura’s Home Driver Volunteer
The driver will use TCM vehicles to take women and their children, as requested, to the places where they complete actions needed to move towards stability for housing and employment.

Assist Case Management department with conducting Homestar assessments for residents

Crossroads Activities Coordinator Volunteer
Open up gym and help Resident Assistant staff with overseeing recreation/activity time
Family Ministries Volunteer Driver
Transport residents and staff in TCM mini-van or 15-passenger vans to and from field trips, events, etc.
