CROSSROADS MEN’S CRISIS CENTER

More than
a shelter.

For men in crisis, Crossroads is a place to rest, refocus, and restore individuals to lifelong self-sufficiency.

Overview

Choosing a new path

Every man’s journey to Crossroads is unique, but the one thing they each hold in common is a lack of stability. They may have overextended their relationships, been overtaken by an addiction, or struggled to gain traction after losing a job. Whatever the case, our doors are open.

Our Programs

Help. Heart. Home.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” -Matthew 11:28 NIV

Our individualized programs include classes, casework, and coaching designed to prepare men for the positive lives they were made to live. Our campus has capacity for about 90 men to participate in an individualized track program.

Finding help

The introduction stage is devoted to providing men with immediate resources such as food, clothing, shelter and safety, as well as introducing them to Crossroads’ services. Our campus has capacity for 95 men to participate in an individualized track program. In providing help, our staff begin to engage men through crisis support groups; men who commit to a specific track will work with a caseworker who will assist them in discovering and reaching their personal goals.

Healing hearts

Heart is what we use to describe the bulk of our program tracks. Crossroads staff works closely with each person to address the issues that brought him to our doors. Men take part in classes to address the mental, emotional, and spiritual concerns of their past and present. Our Resource Center is also available to equip men with the computer skills, certifications, and continued education that will empower them to attain competitive employment and sustainable housing.

During their program, men are also encouraged to engage spiritually and build community through local church involvement, support groups, and chapel services. Through community partnerships, residents are connected with access to resources to help them further their education as they work towards employment.

Empowering home

By the time our residents successfully completed their program, they have experienced the love of Jesus and are ready to live out the life He created for them.  Along with supportive staff, each resident dedicates their time to securing their future. They pursue competitive employment, continue their education and attain sustainable, independent housing.
